Minister: Budget revenue proposals to add 1 tln rbl in 2023
MOSCOW, Oct 3 (PRIME) -- The Finance Ministry’s suggestions on raising the revenue of Russia’s budget for 2023 should add 1 trillion rubles through exemption of excessive incomes of companies, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said on Monday during a session of the parliament’s upper chamber Federation Council.
“The measures for raising the resource provision for budget revenue amount to about 1 trillion rubles. I will repeat again that this exemption covers only a part of rental income and it will not have an impact on financial condition of companies,” he said.
Taxes will be raised in the gas, oil, coal, and mineral fertilizer sectors. Taxation on production and exports of natural gas and oil will be raise, while export duties will be slapped on coal and fertilizers of prices for the commodities grow on the foreign markets, he said.
The budget also encompasses the necessary resources for the social sphere of the new regions of Russia and for recovery of their economies, he said.
